Sending PeopleCredits is designed to take minutes, not a planning cycle. Here is the actual flow, start to finish.
Choose the audience — one employee, a selected group, a saved department, or everyone in the company.
Set the amount — a per-person credit value in the company's operating currency.
Add context, if useful — an optional purpose label such as "Christmas" or "Sales Incentive," and an optional personal message.
Decide on scope and expiry — leave the allocation general, or restrict it to specific eligible categories, and set an optional expiry date if the occasion calls for one.
Review and send — see the recipient count, total value and wallet impact before confirming, then issue the credit. Employees are notified immediately.
That is the entire workflow. No vendor sourcing, no bulk order, no delivery coordination — because none of that sits on HR's side of the process anymore.
A practical operating model
Begin with the audience and the moment, then define the per-person budget. Decide whether the allocation should be broadly spendable or limited to a category, and whether an expiry date is genuinely useful.
For recurring programmes, the goal is to make the second run dramatically easier than the first rather than rebuilding the same workflow each time.
